Candy Apples will be 100 years old this year! (First candied apple was made in 1908). The traditional "candy apple" is an apple on-a-stick with a hard coating of cooled sugar syrup, usually tinted red and with cinnamon flavoring added. The sugar coating is heated and then the apple is dipped and set aside to cool. Candy apples are most commonly eaten in the fall season when apples are harvested. But, on the Midway, fun food operators offer them all year long!

We offer the mixes and flavorings for creating your own candied apples. Be creative and have fun. Your customers will too.
Caramel dipped apples have become more popular over the years and Gold Medal manufactures all the equipment and supplies for the Caramel Apple operation.
